CLASS SCHEDULE

Samba Dance Class 

Class is a playful mix of Bahia’s Samba de Roda and Samba-Reggae as well as Rio-style Samba no Pe. Get ready to sweat and have some fun! We get into the hips, with isolations, rotations, drills and combinations! We also get a lil’ funky from time to time!

All levels welcome.

Capoeira Class (Adult Schedule)

Capoeira is a multi-faceted, Afro-Brazilian martial art and cultural practice developed over 500 years ago by Africans brought to Brazil. It displays elements of a dance, a fight, and a game while integrating music, acrobatic movements, wit, play, and philosophy. The practice of capoeira is an excellent way for building strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and agility. All levels welcome.

Afro-Brazilian Dance Class

A sacred and sensual exploration of the body and spirit honoring Afro-Brazilian roots and culture while covering Afro-Contemporary, Orixa-inspired movement, Samba, and Samba-Reggae. Classes celebrate cultural diversity, emphasize body intelligence with connections to nature and promote radical self-love. All levels welcome.
